Click here for details about UK Horse Passports A NEW WEB SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION TO MARK THE 125th YEAR OF THE CBHS Chief Officer Cleveland Bay Horse Society The Chief Officer of the Cleveland Bay Horse Society (CBHS) Mr James Stephenson is retiring in October 2009 after more than 45 years in post. The CBHS, (A registered Charity), is looking to recruit a new Chief Officer to be based at its prestigious new headquarters at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society in Harrogate. It is anticipate that the position will require a minimum time commitment of 1 day per week. This is not a salaried post but attracts a small honorarium. The CBHS regulates the breed worldwide and its objects include the preservation and promotion of the Cleveland Bay Horse a category 1 Rare Breed. The CBHS are looking for a candidate whom, with administrative support, will be able to manage and develop all aspects of the business of a forward looking and busy Breed Society, which has ambitions to modernise and grow. Equine experience whilst an advantage is not essential.
