Brackenbrae Stormcloud is a registered Pure Cleveland Bay Stallion with a Basic Breeding Licence. He is 16.1 with 9 1/2 inches of bone. Storm has been an integral part of our family and the stud for 7 years. He has the most amazing temperament and is an absolute gentleman. He can be handled by children, adults and elderly parents! 

For the last 7 years we have used him on the stud for breeding purposes. He covers his mares in hand on grass, but will not be collected from. He is a complete saint with the mares and would make a great stallion for anyone who wishes to learn the ropes of covering. Storm does have a very specific routine when covering mares, however, I am more than happy to discuss this with his new owner. He has definitely helped with the Cleveland Bay population and I feel it is now time for him to have a different life. Storm will be gelded in October if he is not used as a stallion with his new owner. 

Storm has been backed but he is still green under saddle. He has wonderful light paces for a big horse and is very kind to his riders, taking care of them.  He has been ridden by adults and teenagers. He has not been ridden in 2025 due to me not having the available time, however, I am more than happy to get him started again before he leaves to go to his new home.

This is truly one of the hardest decisions to make, Storm is such a massive character and gentle soul that in an ideal world he would be staying for life. I am only selling him as I would like to stand a new stallion with different blood lines and I only have room for 3 stallions. Serious enquiries only please.

Braithwaite Savanna is out of Springlea Spectacular and by Weydale Good Choice Pilgrim. Savanna is a lovely filly who loves a bum scratch! She will make 16.0+ and will be a big filly with plenty of bone and presence. She is very calm and willing and has a great floating movement. She has seen the farrier since 3 weeks of age, wormed and halter trained. She will be available at weaning in November/December and will make a fantastic broodmare and ridden prospect in the future. Both parents can be seen.

Braithwaite Forrester is a colt out of Braithwaite Infiniti and by Brackenbrae Stormcloud. Ronnie is a very bold, confident and inquisitive colt who will make 16.1+. He has a very friendly disposition and will excel under saddle in the future. He has seen the farrier from 3 weeks of age and is wormed and halter trained. He is clean limbed with a fantastic straight movement. He has a beautiful deep conker bay colour. Both parents can be viewed.

Filly foal out of Braithwaite Empress and by Weydale Good Choice Pilgrim. Genie is a big strong filly who will make 16.3+ heavy weight hunter type. She is a friendly and very inquisitive. She is clean limbed, straight powerful movement with a striking expression. She has had the farrier from 3 weeks of age, wormed and halter trained . She will make an excellent broodmare or ridden prospect in the future.

Braithwaite Evoque

Filly foal out of Braithwaite Guilietta by Weydale Good Choice Pilgrim. 

Eve has a fantastic temperament, very bold and friendly, haltered trained and handled. She is a straight mover with excellent bone and width. She will make 16.2+. Eve has had her feet trimmed since 3 weeks of age. She will make a fantastic broodmare and ridden prospect in the middleweight/heavyweight hunter classes. Both patents can be viewed and she is available at weaning in November 2025.

Joey

 Pure bred, 3yr old, registered, homebred Cleveland bay colt. Pembridge Justice x Knaresborough Fusion. Good to handle, ties up on his own and has regularly had his feet trimmed by the farrier. Was shown as a yearling once at GYS but otherwise lived a quiet life at the farm. I no longer have a job for him as I now compete in polo, so wanting to move him on to someone who can enjoy him and start his education. Lots of maturing still to do but looking good for the future.
