Open House at Cleveland Bay Horse Society
The Cleveland Bay Horse Society (CBHS) recently celebrated its move to prestigious new premises at the Regional Agricultural Centre (RAC) on the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, with an Open Day for members.
More than 40 visitors attended the event and were treated to a presentation and guided tour by David Anderson, Chairman of the CBHS Council as well as an exciting sneak preview of the brand new website, which will be going live shortly.
A silent auction was also held and along with sales of Cleveland Bay merchandise, a total of £500 was raised for the charity’s funds.
Said Norma Wilson, Head of Publicity and Promotions for the CBHS: “The day was a great success and gave members an insight into how the Society is progressing and moving forward with the times as well as a chance to have a look round and meet new members of the team.
“We were delighted to see so many people who took a real interest in the work we are carrying out at the CBHS. This year promises to be a very exciting one for everyone involved, with many new projects and initiatives in development.”
