Margot Thompson
‘We are so sorry to hear that the CBHS’s oldest member has sadly passed away at 97. Margot Thompson was a CB stalwart since childhood and right to the end a wonderful supporter of the breed. Past President, judge and owner of CB stallions. The most notable being many times King George V champion stallion, Wiggington Antonio, bred by James Stephenson. Margot believed in working her stallions, driven, ridden, hunted and team chased and they were always immaculately turned out and a credit to the breed. Margot tried to attend every AGM and always had a smile and greeting for all. She was well known in driving circles.
