Margaret Raikes-May Trophy awarded at GYS
Mr Roy Raikes-May who owns the Earlswood Cleveland Bay Stud near Chepstow presented to the CBHS the Margaret Raikes-May Trophy in memory of his recently deceased wife who shared their lives together with Cleveland Bay horses. Roy graciously accepted the invitation of the CBHS to make the first presentation of this lovely silver trophy. It went to the winner of the Pure Bred Mare Class, Knaresborough Moonbeam, shown by Jodie Hooks and owned by Steve Pullen. Roy also presented the David Keenleyside Memorial Trophy presented by the CBHS on behalf of Mrs S Keenleyside for the best Pure Bred Foal. This went to Arena Big Ben, shown by Danny Welch and owned by Steve Pullen.
