FOR PURE BRED MATINGS

(UK MEMBERS)

£300

CLAIM DEADLINE 26 MARCH 2021

This grant is aimed to encourage pure mare owners to plan ahead for the 2021 season, and to help mare owners make use of more stallions that are available via AI, and to assist with the costs of purchasing a package for AI from your Vet or AI Centre.

Submit your claim by 26 March 2021 and we will hold your payment until you can provide a receipt

Claim forms available on the website or email cbhsbreed@gmail.com or telephone any member of Council

 A payment of £300 for each mare, owned by a UK resident and located in the UK, who will be bred to a CBHS pure licenced stallion using AI in the 2021 season.

 A veterinary receipt will be required to be submitted for this grant.

 If you intend to breed your mare using AI but are not yet able to supply a receipt as proof, please indicate this and the payment will be held until proof is received after the claim deadline.

 The mating must be of a registered pure bred Cleveland Bay mare to a registered, licenced, Cleveland Bay pure bred stallion.

 Grant to defray veterinary expenses only to use AI in the 2021 season.

 No grant will be payable where the application relates to a red banded mating on the 2021 SPARKS sheets (inbreeding coefficient of potential progeny 0.24 or greater).

 Maximum of 2 claims per stud/breeder.

 NB: Where an owner (who is a UK member) has a mare or stallion on loan to another UK member for breeding purposes, the payments referred to above will be paid to the loanee (who will need to be a paid up member residing in the UK), not the owner of the animal and documentation should be lodged at the office for verification.
